30 Minute BK-2-School DIY : Personalised Chair Bag

When we were getting ready for our 1st day back last night I noticed that the chair bag had a little hole.I’ve always got some felt pieces lying around so I got onto my computer printed out the name in really big letters and in 30 minutes I was done.He was the talk of the classroom with his cute new personalised chair bag.

What you need:

  • Small Piece of Felt (The size of A4 will be perfect
  • MS Word – Go to Insert
    1. Word Art
    2. Pick the very 1st one on the list
    3. Type your 1st letter
    4. Change colour (I made mine a solid black), font (I used a simple print font) and size (350)
    5. Do all the letters of the name
    6. Print page out
  • Scissors
  • Pins
  • Cold Glue / Fabric Glue

To Do:

  • Roughly cut out each letter

  • Pin the papered letter onto the felt

  • Using a good scissors cut through the paper and felt
  • When all the letters are cut out strategically lay them out on your chair bag

  • Using the glue on the back part of the letter glue them down where you want
  • Allow to dry – I just let it dry over night and this morning it was set and ready to take to school
